NEK Driving School offers several drivers' education services to people of driving age in and around the Northeast Kingdom. Our certified instructor, Shawn, provides drivers' education for teens as well as private driving instruction hours to meet the variety of needs in our community. We are excited to support drivers of all ages with developing confidence, safe driving skills, and gaining a level of independence. Our Drivers Education courses run approximately 5-6 weeks, with each course starting with a parent/guardian and driver night which is mandatory for at least one guardian and the driver enrolled in the course. This first night we will review essential details like how to use our software, attendance policies, scheduling, and steps drivers need to take outside of class time and after the course to be issued their operator licenses. Our registration process takes registrants through our policy forms, and they can also be found in our Student Portal once enrolled. Shawn is also a member of the American Drivers & Traffic Safety Education Association (ADTSEA). NEK Driving School uses Family Educational Rights Protection Act (FERPA) Certified Software, ensuring the safety and privacy of our student and drivers' information.
